In Re Equilift Ltd [2009] EWHC 3104 (Ch) (27 November 2009), a case concerning company liquidation, his Honour Judge Purle QC has recently commented that a liquidator should make reference to his judgment on the BAILII website in their letter. He notes, "The judgment once handed down will also be available on BAILII, and the Liquidators should provide the link in their letter." This is an interesting example of the increasing use of information technology in insolvency practice. IPs and the Insolvency Service have been making moves in this direction. Now we have the judiciary coming on board the IT train as well!
