The Companies (Disqualification Orders) Regulations 2009 (SI 2009/2471) has been issued. Considering the recent MG Rover report and the Lord Mandelson's comments the phoenix four (pictured) may be perusing the new ordinance. Have the four much maligned directors actually done anything contrary to s.6 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 or any other statutory provision however? The continuing MG episode will be watched with much interest.
