This evocative photograph, redolent of what a well-dressed barrister had to wear during the early 1970s, has prompted the thought that we might be able to recover photographs, sketches, cartoons, etc, of other more famous bankruptcy writers and practitioners. Watch this space!
Pictured opposite are Mr Muir Hunter QC and Mr David Graham (as they then were), subsequently, Professor Muir Hunter QC and Professor David Graham QC, in Wakefield in 1972. They co-edited the 18th and 19th editions of Williams on Bankruptcy and together prepared the bankruptcy entry for the Hailsham edition of Halsbury's Laws of England.
