Two more items for the Muir Hunter Museum of Bankruptcy, KLS

We have acquired two further items for the Muir Hunter Museum of Bankruptcy at KLS. The first item is a bankruptcy revenue stamp. Specifically, the bankruptcy revenue stamp is a George V 1/6d Green & Purple-Brown stamp which was produced in 1917 (pictured right). The second item is a District Court of Bankruptcy notice dated 7th November 1844. The notice relates to the bankruptcy of a H Lloyd in Machynlleth, Wales. The creditor is Lloyds Bank. Mr Commissioner Phillips is noted in the document as intending to sit in the court on the 25th November 1844 to hear 'the certificate' in the matter.
