The Insolvency Service (IS) and others have worked hard over the previous year. Some fruits of their labour and their Northern Irish and Scottish counterparts can now be seen in the raft of new legislation that was published at the end of last month. We now have the following to mull on, which comes into force on the 30 June 2011:
- Insolvency (Fees) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (SR 2011/14)
- Debt Relief Orders (Designation of Competent Authorities) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 (SR 2011/15)
- Debt Relief (2010 Act) (Transitional Provision) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (SR 2011/Draft)
- Insolvency (Monetary Limits) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (SR 2011/Draft)
- Debt Relief (2010 Act) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (SR 2011/13)
- Bankruptcy and Diligence etc. (Scotland) Act 2007 (Commencement No. 7 and Transitionals) Order 2011 (SSI 2011/31)
