Professor Rebecca Parry's inaugural lecture - 22nd April 2009 - Nottingham Trent University

It has been announced that Professor Rebecca Parry is to deliver her inaugural lecture at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, on the 22nd April 2009. Professor Parry is the author of a number of leading works including: Corporate Rescue (Sweet and Maxwell, 2008) and Transaction Avoidance in Insolvencies (OUP, 2001). Professor Parry's inaugural lecture is entitled: "Is UK insolvency law failing struggling companies?" The lecture promises to deal with some of the issues that have been discussed before on this blog and elsewhere, namely, pre-pack administrations, and the incorporation of elements of Chapter 11 into English law. It is hoped that members of both the Conservative Party's policy team and the Institute of Directors' policy team will be in attendance to hear what Professor Parry has to say on the subject. See you there!
