There are slim pickings for the world of insolvency and debt related businesses and charities in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours list (for previous recipients see here). This is despite sterling work by practitioners saving jobs and viable business throughout the Realm. Likewise trade bodies, such as R3, continue to produce noteworthy research. Today they release a new piece of research on young people and debt.
For legal scholars there is one interesting inclusion. Recently retired Professor Mervyn Murch, sometime Professor of Law at Cardiff Law School, has been awarded a CBE (pictured) for services to the Family Justice System.
